Morning Cup · community standard
Share the coffee.
Respect the person.
Morning Cup is a friendly Australian gallery for coffee made at home. These rules keep uploads useful, lawful and welcoming.
Share your own work
Upload only a photo you took and have permission to share. Do not copy a café, roaster, reviewer or another community member’s image. Keep the focus on the coffee rather than third-party branding.
You keep ownership. By submitting, you grant Australian Coffee Index a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, resize and promote the photo in connection with Morning Cup and the publication. You can request removal through the site’s contact page.
Protect privacy
Do not include faces without permission, children, mail, house numbers, car registrations, work passes, computer screens or anything else that reveals private information. Add only your city or town and state—not a street address.
The browser uploader re-encodes the image to reduce file size and remove embedded location metadata before it is sent.
Keep it coffee-friendly
No hate, harassment, sexual content, dangerous activity, illegal content, spam, advertising or misleading claims. Ratings should celebrate effort and the cup shown; they are not a judgement of someone’s home, budget, equipment or experience.
Moderation and reports
Every new photo waits for editorial approval. Australian Coffee Index may crop, decline, hide or remove a submission that breaches these guidelines, creates legal or privacy risk, or does not suit the gallery.
Community members can report a published image. Repeated independent reports temporarily hide an image for editorial review. Deliberate misuse of uploads or reports may be restricted.
Rating integrity
Give one to five stars based on the cup shown. One browser may hold one current rating per photo and can update it. Automated, coordinated or deceptive voting may be removed.
