Australian Coffee Index is designed to be free for readers. Commercial links and sponsorships can fund the database, but they remain visible and separate from editorial information.
Affiliate links
Buying links are routed through an internal click counter and use sponsored and nofollow relationship labels. If an approved partner programme is active and a reader buys after following one, the site may receive a commission at no extra cost to the reader.
Intended programmes
The site is built to use Amazon Associates (amazon.com.au) and Awin once Australian programme IDs are approved and configured. Until those IDs are supplied in deployment secrets, tracked links may still open official or retailer pages without earning commission.
Tracking
The click counter records the product, placement, destination domain and time. It does not store the reader’s email address, IP address or browser fingerprint. Retailers may apply their own privacy and cookie policies after a reader leaves this site.
Current status
The tracking, disclosure and placement system is active. Commission payments begin only after the site owner supplies valid approved Australian affiliate programme IDs (Amazon AU associate tag and/or Awin publisher and advertiser IDs); until then, a tracked link may still lead to a non-commissioned official or search destination.
Sponsorships
Paid placements use explicit labels such as “Sponsored” or “Partner placement”. Sponsors cannot buy an editorial recommendation, hidden rank boost, invented score, or removal of a competitor.
Price comparison
Retailer panels compare genuine Australian availability, delivery, warranty and bundles—not only the lowest sticker price. Live price feeds require approved retailer or comparison APIs.
