Ben is accountable for the catalogue structure, Australian-market framing, corrections and the separation of editorial information from affiliate or sponsor placements.

A byline identifies the human responsible for research and editing. It does not turn a database profile into a hands-on review. Pages based on published specifications and market research are explicitly labelled “Research profile — not a hands-on review”.

The database currently covers 178 home coffee machines plus grinders, beans, comparison tools and Australian ownership guides. Hands-on reviews will be labelled only after the machine has genuinely been used and documented with original notes and photographs.
